Senior Software QA Engineer

You’ll shape AI‑powered quality automation for Autodesk Upchain, designing resilient test solutions that accelerate releases and enhance customer experiences. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and quality, pushing AI into test creation, execution, and maintenance. What You'll Do Collaborate in Agile/Scrum to validate user stories and acceptance criteria. Translate workflows and requirements into automated test strategies. Design and run end‑to‑end tests for web, API, backend, and cloud services. Apply AI‑assisted techniques to generate and maintain test cases. Build and maintain automation using Playwright, TestComplete, or similar tools. Identify unstable tests and improve reliability, scalability, and maintainability. Support CI/CD pipelines and release readiness with quality metrics. What You Need Bachelor’s degree in CS, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML or equivalent. 5+ years in software quality engineering, test automation or SDET roles. Hands‑on experience with Playwright, TestComplete, Selenium, Cypress or similar. Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python or Java scripting. Experience testing web apps, APIs, backend, and cloud‑based systems. Familiarity with AI‑assisted tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot. Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration abilities. Good to Have Designing workflow‑focused end‑to‑end tests for enterprise software. Experience with cloud‑native/AWS environments. Using performance tools such as JMeter or BlazeMeter. Knowledge of responsible AI practices and validation.
