- Understanding of Product Development Process
- Willing to learn electrical and electronic test tools and technologies
- Good Project Management skills
- Understanding systems engineering and the role of validation in the development process
- Robust knowledge of programming, logic and CAN Communications for testing, troubleshooting and debugging
- Connectivity, cloud and network infrastructure knowledge to interact with vehicle, components and mobile phones
- Over the Air updates testing and verification to create a seamless update and Always On for Ford
Responsibilities
- Conduct Electrical & Software component / system Design Verification Testing for forward model products
- Liaise with shop floor personnel for test fixture development, instrumentation and test needs
- Support the program team in meeting testing targets and gateways
- Liaise with engineering teams in ensuring correct testing methods and parts are used
- Participate in cross-functional team for issue resolution
- Support in Connectivity testing on the vehicle, breadboard, HiL or Subsystem Rigs
- Load software & vehicle configuration to Breadboard or Vehicle
Qualifications
Candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or Equivalent. (Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering preferred)
