Lead Software Engineer

Join a high‑impact agile team that builds and maintains critical Well Log and Land data solutions for the energy sector. You’ll lead large‑scale data cleanup projects while contributing across our modern and legacy software stack. What You'll Do Develop and execute safe SQL scripts for large‑scale data cleanup in Oracle/SQL Server. Audit and validate data modifications to guarantee zero downtime and no downstream impact. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues across Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. Support backend Python services and implement new features as needed. Trace legacy code (C++, C#.NET, Java) to ensure proper data flow. Deploy and monitor applications using AWS (RDS, S3, EC2) and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate on Angular/TypeScript frontend tasks when priorities shift. What You Need Expert-level hands‑on experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases. Deep understanding of transaction management, performance tuning, and data integrity. Proven track record of large‑scale production data cleanups with rollback strategies. Ability to read and follow legacy code in C++, C#.NET, or Java. Proficiency in Python backend development and Angular/TypeScript front‑end work. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Good to Have Experience with AWS infrastructure and CI/CD deployment practices.
