Job Description and Responsibilities
Texas Instruments is seeking an enthusiastic SAP Finance Functional Analyst who will a play key role in SAP Finance activities and configuring and supporting Finance applications in SAP ECC while adhering to Texas Instruments Standards. The candidate will partner with several teams, in a global setting, and will gather, assess, and clarify the business requirements, map them with systems capabilities, convert requirements into functional specifications, and recommend optimal configuration solutions for projects and enhancements.
Key responsibilities will be as follows:
- Build SAP ERP technology solutions that transform clients’ Finance functions such as Accounting, Controls (Costs and Executive), Treasury, Investment Management
- Design, set up, test, and deploy prototype and production Finance solutions and ensure that all the pieces work together seamlessly
- Work with the project team, team leaders, project delivery leads, and client stakeholders to create stand-out Finance offerings powered by SAP ERP Finance tools
- Work alongside a team that is delivering enterprise-wide SAP Transformational Programs
- Contribute to large-scale, global work streams requiring specific knowledge of SAP within the Finance function
- Analyze technical and functional integration requirements
- Work with the team on solidifying and gaining an understanding of process flow charts. Add needed details to these charts during detailed design.
- Provide business process documentation and technical design requirements for the developers.
- Utilize Solution Manager to load all documentation and Process Flow Charts (using BPMN).
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology/Computer Science & related field
- Minimum 0-2 Years of Experience in SAP Finance Domain.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent.
- Experience in SAP Finance working on core FI modules with experience in General Ledger Accounting, , Cost Center Accounting, Treasury, Cash Management, Profit Center Accounting.
- Design /configuration and/or testing experience working on an SAP Finance implementation
- Fast learner, self-motivated, and should have the ability to influence across organizations, proven collaboration skills, comfortable working with some degree of ambiguity, ability to make quick and informed decisions to handle crisis situations.
- Ability to work well in cross-geographical teams and working with global customers.
- Write/update configuration and functional (RICEFW) specification documents.
- Strong analytical, Unit Testing, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail
