What You’ll Do
- Design and operate Dev Cloud services for efficient, secure software delivery.
- Own Docker Desktop support and improve local‑to‑cloud parity.
- Build and extend Backstage with templates, plugins, and a service catalog.
- Develop AWS cloud‑native services using infrastructure‑as‑code and managed offerings.
- Automate build, test, and deployment workflows across the organization.
- Mentor engineers and promote platform reliability, observability, and security.
What You Need
- 5+ years software engineering experience with cloud platforms.
- Strong expertise in Docker containers and local development tooling.
- Hands‑on experience building internal developer platforms, preferably Backstage.
- Proficiency with AWS services, IAM, networking, and IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Experience automating CI/CD pipelines and scripting (Shell, Python).
- Solid understanding of observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing) and security best practices.
Good to Have
- Experience with cost‑aware architecture design on AWS.
- Familiarity with golden‑path and self‑service platform patterns.
- Knowledge of enterprise engineering standards and tooling adoption.
